Anna Wise - As If It Were Forever

Anna Wise’s debut album features an all-star lineup of collaborators, including Denzel Curry, Little Simz, Jon Bap, Nick Hakim, Mndsgn, Pink Siifu, and more. As part of experimental R&B bedroom pop outfit Sonnymoon, Anna Wise has stretched her vocal chops over Dane Orr's production since 2010. This led to her long-standing tenure as a guest vocalist appearing on each of Kendrick Lamar's projects since Good Kid, M.A.A.D City.

On the follow-up To Pimp a Butterfly, Anna won a GRAMMY for Best Rap/Sung Performance for her collaboration on “These Walls.” She has since released two solo EPs in which Pitchfork noted “a tongue-in-cheek air of brilliance” in her lyricism. Songs like “BitchSlut” went viral and to date, “Precious Possession” has been streamed over 3 million times and scored an unforgettable moment on Netflix’s Dear White People.

Her music has been featured on Beats1 multiple times, with single “Some Mistakes” hand-picked by Sir Elton John. Shows on Netflix, HBO, and OWN have continued to utilize Anna’s contemporary sound.
